At Healing Hearts
Changing Minds
we build bridges between those who seek healing and those who've found it through psychedelic-assisted therapy.
We connect the people who want to embark on psychedelic-assisted therapy but who cannot afford the retreat fees with those who want to give back.
We see this “passing the baton” as the ultimate integration of the psychedelic experience. It is also an affirmation of the connection between generosity and happiness: we know that generous people are happier people and vice versa. The happier and lighter we are after our own journeys, the more we want to hold on to that – and what better way than to pay it forward?
We are all Kintsugi
Kintsugi is the Japanese Art of repairing broken pottery with gold and lacquer. It’s the philosophy that something broken can be remade into something even more beautiful.

At Healing Hearts, Changing Minds, we want to share the healing power of psychedelic-assisted therapy with as many people as possible, enhancing our connectedness to each other and to the natural world.
By providing others with opportunity to recover from trauma and other mental health challenges and to truly reach their potential, we can help to transform our society into a more evolved, empathic, and peaceful place.
Donors
Most of us who have undertaken psychedelic-assisted therapy have experienced the richness of the group dynamic, the feelings of deep empathy and togetherness that arise during the retreat experience. As we begin to collectively unburden ourselves of past traumas, we also develop a sense of connection to something much greater than ourselves. And when we return home, the experience of our “lighter” selves extends, like a ripple effect, to our families and broader communities.
Psychedelic-assisted therapy offers enormous promise in addressing the scourge of mental health illness in our society. To give a person the opportunity to embark on their own healing journey may be giving them the gift of a lifetime, whose benefits could reverberate in unquantifiable ways. If you have found personal healing through psychedelic-assisted therapy and are keen to “pay it forward” as part of your ongoing integration, read on.
Grant Recipients
While the promise of psychedelic-assisted healing is causing ripples of excitement through our society, the risk that it will bypass minority or marginalized communities is very real. Currently psychedelic-assisted therapy is accessible only to those people who can afford the high cost of therapeutic retreats in countries outside of the United States where they are legal. Meanwhile the rest of us, perhaps those who stand to gain the most, may instead lose out from its tremendous healing benefits.
If you as an individual, or representative of an institution, or community organization are interested in exploring psychedelic-assisted therapy for yourself or members of your community who cannot afford to pay the fees, you’ve come to the right place. Read on.
